SMMIS is a Jewish International school, established by the philanthropic commitment and generosity of Sir Manasseh Meyer (1846-1930), a prominent civic and Jewish leader in Singapore. He had a vision of ‘providing an international education for children, with the values to lead successful, ethical lives.’ It is this vision that the Sir Manasseh Meyer Trust has brought to life. Having built a state-of-the-art site in 2016, the Trust continues to provide an annual grant towards the running of the school thus subsidizing each child’s education. SMMIS is a not-for-profit school that puts the educational experience and wellbeing of our school community above all else.
