Guide to SG60 Support Schemes for Singaporeans

As Singapore marks 60 years of nationhood in 2025, a series of SG60 initiatives has been rolled out to celebrate this milestone with all citizens. From financial support to lifestyle benefits, here’s a quick breakdown of what you can look forward to:

Direct Financial Benefits

1. SG60 Vouchers

All Singapore Citizens aged 21 and above in 2025 will receive $600 in SG60 Vouchers, while seniors aged 60 and above will receive $800. The vouchers can be spent at participating Heartland merchants, hawkers, and supermarkets—just like the CDC Vouchers. They will be disbursed progressively in July 2025 and must be claimed via RedeemSG using Singpass. Vouchers will expire on 31 Dec 2026.

2. Personal Income Tax Rebate

All tax-resident individuals will automatically receive a 60% tax rebate, capped at $200, for the Year of Assessment 2025. There’s no need to apply—IRAS will process this when you receive your tax bill (April to September 2025).

3. SG60 Baby Gift

Every Singapore Citizen baby born in 2025 will receive a commemorative SG60 Baby Gift—a curated set of items to celebrate the milestone and support new parents. Registration is required after birth registration.

Giving Back, Made Easier

4. SG Gives Matching Grant

From 2025, your donations to selected causes (Community Chest, President’s Challenge, or the Collective for a Stronger Society) will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Government—up to a total pool of $250 million. Larger, sustained donations (min. $250,000/year for 3 years) will be matched at $1.50 per dollar to encourage long-term giving.

5. Tote Board’s Enhanced Fund-Raising (EFR) Programme

Registered charities can continue to benefit from the Enhanced Fund-Raising Programme, which provides up to 100% matching support (40% from Tote Board and 60% from the Government) for fundraising projects from April 2025 to March 2026.

6. Cultural Matching Fund (CMF) Top-Up

An additional $100 million will be allocated to the CMF to enhance private donations to the arts and heritage sector. Matching will continue through FY2029, helping charities diversify their income streams while encouraging a culture of giving.

7. SG Culture Pass

From 1 September 2025, all Singaporeans aged 18 and above will receive $100 in credits to attend local cultural experiences, including concerts, exhibitions, workshops, and more. These credits are valid until 31 Dec 2028 via authorised ticketing platforms. Stay alert for official updates—no need to sign up yet!

8. SG60 ActiveSG Credit Top-Up

To promote a more active lifestyle, all Singapore Citizens and PRs who log in to MyActiveSG+ between 2 June and 31 Dec 2025 will receive $100 in SG60 ActiveSG credits. New members will get an extra $100 (total $200). Credits can be used for facility bookings or programme fees and are valid until 31 Dec 2026, with rollover possible if you use them at least once in 2026.

Support for Hawker Stallholders

9. SG60 Rental Support

Hawker centres and markets remain the heart of our culture and everyday life. As a gesture of appreciation, each stallholder operating in government or government-appointed hawker centres will receive a one-off $600 rental support.

Together, these initiatives aim to make SG60 a celebration that is inclusive, meaningful, and impactful—whether you’re giving back, getting support, or simply enjoying the vibrant life of Singapore.
