About the Company

Chop Tai Chong Kok is a heritage bakery established in 1935 in Singapore, renowned for its authentic Cantonese mooncakes and traditional pastries crafted by hand using time-honoured recipes. As one of the few bakeries that still produces its lotus paste from scratch using 100% pure lotus seeds with no preservatives, the brand remains steadfast in its commitment to quality and tradition. Its mooncakes are formed in the same traditional wooden moulds used at its original Sago Street store in Chinatown over 80 years ago and are still presented in stringed brown paper bags, evoking the nostalgia of pre-war Singapore. Beyond mooncakes, Tai Chong Kok is also famed for its traditional Chinese wedding cakes, soft flour cakes, and other Cantonese confections, all baked fresh daily in Singapore.
